Housebound” is a series of photographs taken between March and July 2020 during the lock down brought on by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic.

As life changed over-night, home became everything.
Once a place of comfort, home had now become a workplace of frustration, a space of virtual celebrations, a gym and restaurant of limited means, but it had also developed into the focus of my lens as it replaced the street. Out of the constraints of a domestic setting, the natural light and the candidness of the mundane I documented the beauty and tension of the varying relationship of light within the home.

The days became weeks, which became months, and in what felt like an eternity were captured for an eternity.

Housebound was self-published as a limited edition zine, comprising of 32 black and white photographs along with 1 colour image in a 8” x 8” format.
Presented here is a selection of that work.
